Information:
Makee Manor is licensed by the state of Iowa, as a Residential Care
Facility which is also Medicaid Certified.
Makee Manor is designed for people needing assistance with Activities
of Daily Living, but wishing to live as independently as
possible. We bridge the gap between independent living and
nursing homes.
24 hour supervision, assistance with bathing, dressing, laundry,
housekeeping, medications, nurses to monitor health services and a
variety of activities to interest everyone.
Makee Manor provides transportation to local medical appointments
We also provide (HCBS) Home and Community Based Waiver Programs, which
includes the Elderly Waiver and MR Waiver. We also provide
Habilitation Services and are accredited to provide Chapter 24 services
in the community.
We accept Private Pay, Veterans and Long-term Care Insurance, along
with Medicaid funding.
We are located in the picturesque countryside of Allamakee
County. Makee Manor is a warm friendly home where privacy and
individual wishes are respected and independence is promoted. We
